Job summary

Axiom seeks Legal Support & Operations professionals to partner with in-house legal teams across a broad client base. The role focuses on paralegal or law clerk support, legal operations, technology, and project management, with exposure to multiple matter types.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in related roles, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally to drive efficient legal services. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Legal Support & Operations Professional

We are currently seeking Paralegals, Law Clerks, and Legal Operations professionals to work with our clients at some of the world’s largest companies across a range of industries.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting in-house legal teams, with a background in one or more of the following areas: paralegal or law clerk support; legal operations; legal technology and systems; process improvement; or legal project and program management. Candidates do not need experience across all areas.

Responsibilities:

• Provide paralegal, law clerk, or operational support to in-house legal teams across a variety of corporate and commercial matters.
• Support legal operations and process improvement initiatives, including developing and implementing workflows, policies, procedures, playbooks, and standardized processes.
• Assist with legal technology and systems, including CLM, matter management, e-billing, document management, knowledge management, and other legal technology platforms.
• Support legal teams with entity management, corporate records, filings, document preparation, due diligence, contract administration, and other legal matters, depending on experience.
• Assist with legal project and program management, including tracking matters, deadlines, deliverables, metrics, and reporting.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, procurement, IT, compliance, and other business teams to improve the efficiency and delivery of legal services.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in paralegal, law clerk, legal operations, legal technology, legal project management, or related legal support roles, preferably within an in-house legal department.
• Experience supporting legal teams with legal processes, technology, corporate matters, project management, or operational initiatives.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally.

Compensation:

The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles is $114,000-250,000 per year and for non-attorney roles is $64,000-201,000 per year. Compensation decisions are based on various factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs. Employees may be eligible for additional benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance; paid holidays and PTO; flexible work arrangements; and professional development opportunities and tools.
