Job summary

Athens Technical College is seeking a Federal Work Study student for the Legal Studies program. You will provide clerical support, answer phones, assist with orientations and testing, and perform general office tasks on campus.

The role is part-time at $10.00 per hour, 19.5 hours per week, with no state employee benefits. Candidates must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours, maintain SAP, and have FAFSA completed.

Qualifications

• Minimum enrollment of 6 credit hours and continued enrollment required.
• FAFSA for current aid year completed.
• Meet Federal Satisfactory Academic Progress requirements.
• Strong communication skills and solid work ethic preferred.
• Submit cover letter, resume, three professional references, and unofficial transcripts.

Responsibilities

• Answering the phone, make phone calls, and assist with internal and external program inquiries.
• Assist with orientations and testing.
• Operate office machines and basic computer work using Microsoft Office and internet research.
• Complete errands on campus as needed.
• Other clerical duties as assigned.
