Job summary

CAS is seeking a Legal Intern for Summer 2027 at our Columbus, Ohio headquarters. The program provides hands-on exposure to transactional legal work at the intersection of science, technology, and business.

During May 17, 2027 - August 6, 2027, you will support attorneys and paralegals on IP licensing, commercial contracts, and international sales, with cross‑functional collaboration across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product, and Technology.

Qualifications

• Rising 3L currently enrolled in an accredited law school.
• Strong academic record and interest in business law and in‑house practice.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist with legal research and analysis on topics including software licensing, data privacy, IP, and international business.
• Assist with drafting, reviewing, and revising contracts, NDAs, and service agreements.
• Attend departmental and cross‑functional meetings related to legal issues and strategy.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product, and Technology teams on initiatives.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
