Job summary

ENFRA's Legal Department seeks a current law student for a full-time internship to support Development, Delivery, Sustainability, and Corporate teams on transactional, contract, and litigation matters.

You will assist with litigation discovery, notices and responses, legal research, and writing while identifying proactive risk solutions and maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Current law student enrolled in an accredited program.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with the industry and the Company’s landscape.

Responsibilities

• Legal support to Development, Delivery, Sustainability, and Corporate groups on transactional, contract, and litigation issues.
• Litigation assistance including document review and discovery.
• Assistance with notice and demand letters and responses.
• Legal research and writing.
• Identification of proactive solutions that will eliminate or mitigate risks.
• Excellent business judgment and appropriate decision-making ability.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to synthesize and discuss complex matters.
• Adherence to ethical principles and strict confidentiality obligations.

Overview

This position is Full-Time, Exempt, and reports to the various Associate General Counsels.

Qualifications

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications

• Current Law Student
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Versed in the industry and the Company’s competitors.
• Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary.

Travel Requirements

• Up to 5% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location.

Physical/Work Environment Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Climbing stairs.
• Remaining in a stationary position, often kneeling, standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
• Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
• Quiet environment.
• Light work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects up to 20 pounds.
