Job summary

Wettermark Keith in Knoxville, TN is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join our growing personal injury team. You will support attorneys, manage calendars, file documents, and communicate with clients, insurers, and courts to keep cases moving forward.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant, Paralegal, or Legal Secretary in Personal Injury.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Experience with legal software; excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, file, and e-file legal documents with state and federal courts
• Manage attorney calendars, court dates, deadlines, and appointments
• Draft correspondence, memos, and other legal documents
• Open new case files and ensure required documentation is completed
• Communicate with insurance claim adjusters, opposing counsel, courts, and other interested parties
• Maintain organized case files and legal records
• Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys as needed
• Assist with coordinating day-to-day case activity and ensuring important deadlines are met

What You’ll Do:
