The successful candidate must be reliable and detail-oriented with excellent communication and organizational skills. We are looking for a Legal Assistant with strong litigation experience, preferably in General Liability defense.

Salary: $60k - $80k

Required Education and Experience

• 1–3 years of liability practice experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist lawyers and paralegals with day‑to‑day tasks related to insurance defense litigation.
• Coordinate meetings, schedule appointments, answer and direct telephone calls, maintain and organize electronic case files, and update files with case status and information.
• Schedule hearings, depositions, mediations, conferences, and other events.
• Compile and organize documents, preparing binders and/or folders.
• Gather and organize records, documents, and other materials.
• Draft correspondence and minor motions/notices.
• Ensure service of subpoenas.
