Macon-Bibb County Government is seeking a Law Clerk to assist prosecutors and staff in preparing files for felony prosecutions and to perform essential legal research. The role includes preparing documents, interviewing witnesses, and organizing case files under supervision.
Applicants should be law students with two-thirds of their legal education completed and be sworn under the Third Year Practice Act to represent the State in court under supervision. A Georgia driver's license is required.
The Law Clerk is responsible for providing assisting staff in preparation of files and prosecution of felony cases.
The Law Clerk should be a current student in an accredited institution focused on the area of Law.
