DeepMind is expanding Gemini’s frontier AI capabilities in the Legal sector. As a Legal Expert Lead, you will map complex Legal workflows, identify data improvements, and curate high-quality data to enable Gemini as the ultimate AI assistant for legal professionals.

You will partner with research and cross-functional teams to prioritize capabilities, source pipelines, and data coverage, while ensuring safety and ethical standards across a global organization.

Qualifications

• JD, LLM, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience measuring the performance of LLMs or generative AI tools and optimizing them for legal use cases.
• Ability to bridge law and AI with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Define and implement the Legal data strategy by mapping workflows into use-case taxonomy.
• Create high-quality Legal data and QA datasets from vendors, customers, and synthetic pipelines.
• Assess model failures and stress-test checkpoints to improve legal knowledge coverage.
• Build and evaluate data strategy effectiveness with industry benchmarks.
• Scale expertise by guiding SMEs and enforcing data quality for training.
