GS-12: To be eligible at the GS-12 level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level.

Specialized experience is defined as:

• providing technical advice to litigation teams and legal support staff on legal automation requirements and system capabilities;
• participating in the investigation and litigation of civil and criminal cases;
• analyzing litigation support requirements to develop or recommend appropriate strategies to meet litigation needs;
• diagnosing litigation support computer system problems to meet individual user needs and evaluating new developments in legal technology, including software courtroom presentation equipment and trial exhibit preparation.
