Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an Experienced Underground Front Line Supervisor for the Leeville operations. You will lead a frontline team, prioritize tasks, and ensure safe, efficient operation of underground equipment in a hard rock mining environment.

The role requires proven underground experience, a track record in supervision, and the ability to coordinate with maintenance and engineering to follow mine plans. Rotating night/day shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Six+ years of underground mine experience.
• Three+ years in a supervisory role.
• Proven knowledge of underground hard rock mining.
• Maintenance planning/ Scheduling experience preferred.
• Excellent communication; able to supervise underground teams.
• Strong safety record; adaptable to night/day rotating schedule.

Our people division is growing, and we are looking for an Underground Front Line Supervisor at our Leeville operations. As part of the Underground Operations team, the ideal candidate will have proven knowledge of underground hard rock mining.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and assign personnel as jobs require


• Coordinate with maintenance to ensure equipment preforms as desired


• Coordinate with engineering to ensure compliance with mine plans


• Develop and train employees to standards for safe and efficient equipment operation


• Preform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum of six (6) years of underground mine related experience required


• Minimum of three (3) years' experience at a supervisory level required


• Proven knowledge of underground hard rock mining required


• Experience in an environment involving planning/scheduling of maintenance work preferred


• Excellent communication skills with ability to supervise and direct underground supervision required


• Excellent safety and performance record required


• The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role.
