Job summary

Core Natural Resources, Inc. is seeking an Experienced Miner for underground operations. You will support safe operation of mining equipment, maintenance, and general labor in the mine.

Candidates must have at least 1 year underground experience, WV Experienced Miner Certificate, and be able to work overtime and rotate shifts. High school diploma preferred. Must pass safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Minimum of 1 year underground mining experience.
• West Virginia Experienced Miner Certificate required.
• Must be available to work overtime, weekends and holidays as schedule requires.
• Must be able to work as scheduled and arrive to the worksite promptly to receive work assignment and prepare for the start of the shift.
• Must be able to work a shift rotation.
• Must be able to work safely and effectively as a part of a team.
• Must be able to perform heavy work as defined by the Dictionary of Occupational Titles which may include lift, carry, pull/push, climb, shovel, walk, or pry.

Preferred Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred

Supervisory/management skills and experience

Specialty certification or experience

Machine Runners Certificate
