A Nurse Clinical lecturer, also known as an adjunct clinical instructor, oversees nursing students in clinical environments like hospitals, clinics, or community health centers. Their duties include guiding students in translating classroom theory into practical patient care and ensuring safe, evidence-based practices. Clinical lecturers utilize assessment and evaluation methods, assign grades, and help develop course materials. This role is carried out in accordance with the rules and regulations set by the Kansas State Board of Nursing and relevant accrediting bodies.
