UC Berkeley invites applications for a pool of qualified, temporary, non-tenure track lecturers to teach a range of physics courses. Applicants are considered for positions as needs arise; the existence of this pool does not guarantee that a position is available.
We seek lecturers who can teach/co‑teach undergraduate physics courses of varying sizes; duties may include office hours, grading, advising, and preparing course materials, using LMS tools and supervising graders.

Percent time: Part-time, varies by assignment. Courses typically are 25%, 33%, or 44% FTE.
Anticipated start: For lecturer pools: "Positions usually start in January, various times throughout the summer and August"
Review timeline: Applications are typically reviewed for, fall course needs in May-June, and in October -November for spring course needs.
