This position requires Lecturer-Pool faculty to be available toteach one to four online courses per semester, based ondepartmental needs . Teaching assignments may include bothundergraduate and graduate courses. Possible undergraduate coursesinclude Interpersonal Communication, Intercultural Communication, Conflict and Negotiation, Family Communication, and other undergraduate communication coursesconsistent with the candidate’s qualifications and departmentalneeds. Possible graduate courses include Advanced Interpersonal Communication, Advanced Communication Theory, and other graduate electives listed in the Graduate Catalog. Specificteaching assignments will be determined based on departmental needsand the candidate’s academic preparation, areas of expertise, andteaching experience.
Lecturer-Pool faculty appointments are made on a semester-by-semester basis and are contingent upon student enrollment and instructional demand.
Ph.D. in Communication Studies.
Demonstrated successful college-level online teaching experience. Experience teaching graduate-level communication courses in anonline environment is preferred.
