The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at UCLA invites applications from highly qualified candidates for lecturer positions to teach general MAE courses across mechanism design, solid mechanics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, advanced materials, dynamics and controls.

A Ph.D. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or an equivalent degree is required with an excellent professional and research record and experience. UCLA is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.

Formación

• PhD in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong professional and research record and teaching experience.
• Commitment to UCLA nondiscrimination policy.

Responsabilidades

• Lecturer duties covering MAE general courses including mechanism design, solid/fluid mechanics, heat transfer, materials, dynamics and controls.
• Deliver engaging lectures, develop course materials and assess student performance.
• Contribute to curriculum development and mentor students in MAE programs.
