Job Description Summary: The department of Human Development and Child Studies in the School of Education and Human Services is looking for qualified individuals to serve as part‑time lecturers. We are accepting applications for OU’s Special Education Master’s degree program and the graduate certificate Special Education endorsement program courses.

Areas of expertise in Special Education include: specific learning disabilities, emotional impairments, autism spectrum disorders and Applied Behavior Analysis (specifically, ABA concepts & principles, assessment, behavior analytic research, ethics, and personnel management).

Minimum Qualifications

K-12 teaching experience and the minimum of a Master’s degree in Special Education or Educational Psychology. Experience working with children from K-12 and in special education settings. Willingness to use a web-based learning management system. Familiarity with navigating video conferencing platforms (such as Zoom) with the intent to use in some classroom or other interpersonal settings;
