This posting establishes a pool of candidates who can teach one studio or technical seminar per semester in Landscape Architecture on an as needed basis. This posting does not necessarily reflect a current, open position. Single course appointments will be made semester‑by‑semester, as teaching needs arise.
This temporary Lecturer pool is anticipated to remain continuously active through August 2026, at which point all applications will be cleared from the pool. Applicants will be welcome to apply to future pools after that date.
Lecturers selected from this pool will teach in the College's graduate program. Classes taught may range from three to six credit hours and may include lectures, seminars, and studios in all teaching modes (in‑person, hybrid, online, remote).
The position may involve in‑person or hybrid work depending on the specific course(s) being taught. Working from the office is encouraged when working on tasks that require a high degree of collaboration.
The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training. This salary represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
This position is not eligible for overtime compensation. This part‑time appointment is not eligible for group health, life insurance, or retirement benefits.

Qualified applicants may be reviewed and approved for hire at any point during this period.
