University of North Carolina Wilmington invites applications for a 9-month non-tenure track Lecturer position in the Exercise Science program, beginning August 2027. The successful candidate will teach a range of undergraduate Exercise Science courses, mentor students, and contribute to community engagement and service within SHAHS.

Qualified applicants hold a Master’s degree in Exercise Science or related field, plus in-person college teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Allied-Health, or closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Completion of at least 18 graduate-level semester hours of coursework closely related to Exercise Science.
• Evidence of in-person teaching experience at the college level in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Allied-Health, or related curriculum.

Responsabilités

• Teach a variety of undergraduate Exercise Science courses.
• Mentor students and foster community engagement.
• Provide service to the school, college, university, and profession.
• Collaborate in an interdisciplinary academic setting.
