The University of North Carolina Greensboro invites applications for a full-time Lecturer in Concept Art and Storyboarding starting August 1, 2027. The School of Art aims to expand its undergraduate Animation program, nurturing storytellers and preparing students for professional achievement.

The successful candidate will develop curricular content with colleagues, advise students, and teach four in-person courses per semester using contemporary digital art and production tools for concept

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in concept art, storyboarding and visual storytelling.
• Proficiency with digital art and production tools.
• Evidence of teaching, mentoring, or collaborative work with students.
• Ability to teach across multiple areas of an animation curriculum.

Aufgaben

• Teach four in-person courses per semester with proficiency in relevant tools.
• Advise and mentor Animation program students.
• Contribute to curricular development with School of Art colleagues.
• Provide service to the School, College, University and profession.
