Job description

Overview

The Department of Anatomy, Physiology, and Pharmacology in the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking applications for a 9-month non-tenure track Lecturer position in Veterinary Anatomy, with an anticipated start date of August 1, 2026.

Interested candidates should submit 1) a cover letter, 2) curriculum vitae, and 3) names of three individuals who have been requested by the applicant to act as references. Review of applications will begin 4/1/2026 and will continue until the position is filled. Responsibilities

This is a 100% teaching appointment. Responsibilities include assisting with gross anatomy lectures and laboratory sessions in both Anatomy I (small animals) and II (large animals), performing prosections for laboratory demonstrations, and supporting other academic and extracurricular activities, such as Vet Fest.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements for work in the United States at the time the appointment is scheduled to begin and continue working legally for the term of employment.
