Job summary

Cardinal Group Companies in Baton Rouge is seeking a Leasing Team Member (Full-time, non-exempt) to apply people skills and sales experience to achieve 100% occupancy. You will greet prospects, present the community, and guide applicants through the lease process.

This role requires 1–2 years of customer service and sales, strong communication, energy, and availability evenings and weekends. You will maintain accurate lease files, assist with events, and support the Community Manager in daily

Responsibilities

• Be an ambassador for customer service by consistently going above and beyond to ensure that Cardinal customers are satisfied.
• Warmly greet prospective clients and answer incoming leasing calls; determine needs and preferences; present the community and apartment homes; utilize feature/benefit selling; close the sale; follow up.
• Complete all lease applications and lease file paperwork; maintain accurate lease file documentation; participate in lease file audits as assigned by the Community Manager.
• Maintain cleanliness of the tour path to ensure a positive first impression of the community.
• Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude with team members, residents, prospective residents, and vendors.
• Participate in and assist with planning community events; assist with various additional community projects as assigned by the Community Manager; participate in Cardinal U training as required.

COMPENSATION: Hourly Rate, plus Benefits and Bonus eligibility

Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES (Including But Not Limited To)
