Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Leasing Advisory Intern in Parsippany, NJ to gain exposure to leasing brokerage, data analysis, and client presentations in a fast-paced CRE environment. You will assist senior brokers with outreach, data management, and market research while learning to prepare offering materials and pitch decks.

You’ll read leases and operating statements, build Excel models, and support negotiations, CRM usage, and tech adoption across the brokerage team.

Responsibilities

• Support senior brokers with business development by initiating outreach to new leads, managing prospect data, and organizing historical client activity.
• Gather and evaluate economic, demographic, and real estate market data to assist with client deliverables and presentations.
• Assist with the preparation of offering materials, pitch decks, and other presentations for new business pursuits.
• Read, review, and abstract real estate documents such as leases and operating expense statements for clients.
• Create and use sophisticated Excel-based analytical tools and financial models for ad-hoc analysis.
• Shadow senior brokers in transaction negotiations, evaluations, and documentation.
• Serve as a technology champion, promoting and supporting the use of JLL's brokerage software and CRM programs.
