Job summary

JLL in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Leasing Advisory Intern to support senior brokers, assist with data gathering, and help prepare offering materials and analyses. This internship offers exposure to sourcing, securing, and servicing clients on Occupier and Landlord sides of CRE.

You will develop Excel-based models, work with CRM tools, and shadow brokers through negotiations. This role emphasizes collaboration, organization, and a strong interest in pursuing a broker career.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
• Previous internship experience in a professional environment.
• Permanent US work authorization.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze both qualitative and quantitative information.
• Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• A strong interest in pursuing a career path as a commissioned Broker.

Responsibilities

• Support senior brokers with business development by initiating outreach to new leads, managing prospect data, and organizing historical client activity.
• Gather and evaluate economic, demographic, and real estate market data to assist with client deliverables and presentations.
• Assist with the preparation of offering materials, pitch decks, and other presentations for new business pursuits.
• Read, review, and abstract real estate documents such as leases and operating expense statements for clients.
• Create and use sophisticated Excel-based analytical tools and financial models for ad-hoc analysis.
• Shadow senior brokers in transaction negotiations, evaluations, and documentation.
• Serve as a technology champion, promoting and supporting the use of JLL's brokerage software and CRM programs.

What this job involves:

This internship offers the opportunity to start your career in the fast-paced, entrepreneurial sales environment of commercial real estate. You will support leasing brokerage activities by assisting with special projects designed to support quality decision-making by clients and the brokerage team.
