Job summary

Kimco Realty Corp. is offering a Summer Internship in Specialty Leasing in Houston, TX. The position provides a hands-on experience across leasing activities, reporting, and marketing support, with a structured 8-week schedule and an hourly pay rate.

Interns will work approximately 40 hours per week and engage with the leasing team on property tours, meetings and deal coordination to gain real-world exposure in commercial real estate.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a business-related major (real estate preferred).
• Strong written, verbal and analytical skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers and learn internal systems.

Responsibilities

• Support specialty leasing initiatives, including marketing, data entry and deal coordination.
• Assist with preparing, running, and reviewing reports to support leasing decisions.
• Shadow the specialty leasing team during property tours and tenant meetings to gain exposure.
• Assist with special projects tracking leasing activity and program initiatives.
