Job summary

Aeon is seeking a Leasing Agent for the South Quarter communities in Minneapolis, including The Rose, The Wellstone, The Jourdain, and Pine Cliff. The role focuses on connecting people to housing, guiding applicants through applications, and coordinating move-ins while building inclusive relationships across diverse residents.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role such as leasing, property management, affordable housing, real estate, sales, hospitality, or customer service.
• Ability to learn and accurately apply leasing criteria, eligibility requirements, Fair Housing requirements, and established policies and procedures is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of apartment availability, rental rates, leasing criteria, and applicable affordable housing requirements; provide clear information about homes and the leasing process.
• Build relationships with prospective residents, conduct property and apartment tours, and follow up to move prospects through the leasing process.
• Guide applicants through the application process, communicate screening and eligibility requirements, and review documentation.
• Prepare lease agreements and move-in materials, and ensure documentation and payments are complete.
• Support renewal process and resident retention with timely follow-up and excellent service.
