Job summary

NRP Group is seeking a Leasing Specialist to conduct leasing activities, tours, and move-ins at a Columbus property. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service and driving occupancy through targeted on-site marketing and referrals.

The position requires strong sales and communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and a valid driver’s license. Training and growth opportunities are offered as part of a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or sales experience.
• Tax Credit Specialist accreditation preferred.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Conduct all leasing activities at the property, respond to inquiries, provide tours of apartments and amenities, and coordinate move-ins.
• Perform telephone market surveys and physical shops of competitors.
• Develop and monitor on-site marketing activity and referral programs for move-in packets, newsletters, and resident retention.
• Initiate sales outreach plans including development, community management, and internal/external communications.
• Maintain passing e-shop, phone shop, and physical shop scores and closing ratios.
• Inspect market-ready units and models each morning, ensuring show readiness and refreshments.
• Assist with renewals, lease expirations, and notices to vacate.
• Process and report receipt of application fees, security deposits, rents and other fees.
• Keep files and leasing area organized and compliant with policies and Fair Housing laws.
• May assist at other properties and run errands as needed.
