Job summary

McKinney Properties, Inc. is seeking a friendly Leasing Consultant to help prospective residents explore floorplans, availability, and amenities. You will greet visitors, provide information, and guide applicants through the leasing process with strong service and communication.

The role includes marketing support, responding to inquiries, tracking rents and vacancies, and ensuring Fair Housing compliance. A dependable, self-motivated candidate with prior sales experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Dependable and self-motivated with prior sales experience is preferred.
• Excellent people skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a residential leasing environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents and provide information on floorplans, availability, amenities, and other housing details.
• Obtain leads and follow up according to company standards.
• Guide applicants through the leasing process from application to lease signing and related paperwork.
• Understand and comply with Fair Housing Laws and company rules and regulations.
• Provide input on promotions, advertisements, and marketing strategies.
• Monitor and post on blogs, forums, and social networks for outreach.
• Assist in creating signage, circulars, emails, and online promotions.
• Assist with distribution of marketing materials and fulfillment of offers.
• Support housing fairs and other marketing opportunities.
• Maintain knowledge of rents, vacancies, and lease expirations; follow up on market trends.
