Job summary

TLC Management Co is looking for a Leasing Consultant in Chicago, IL, to assist prospective residents through the leasing process. The ideal candidate must provide exceptional customer service, possess excellent communication skills, and maintain strong relationships with current residents.

The role offers a pay range of $21 to $23 per hour based on experience, plus quarterly bonuses. Candidates should have a high school diploma and prior experience in leasing or customer service is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Must be available to work Saturdays.
• Previous experience in leasing, sales, or customer service is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and leasing regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist prospective residents, providing tours of available units and community amenities.
• Explain leasing terms, policies, and procedures clearly and accurately.
• Process rental applications, conduct background and credit checks, and prepare lease agreements.
• Maintain accurate records of leasing activity and resident information.
