Job summary

The Cortina Apartments in North Phoenix, a boutique community, seeks a Part-Time Leasing Consultant to join our team. You will be the first contact for prospects and residents, delivering outstanding service and guiding tours of available apartments both in person and online.

Responsibilities include leasing, renewing leases, site walks, marketing outreach, and data entry with Yardi. A positive attitude and flexible weekend availability are required to thrive in our vibrant community.

Qualifications

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in high-volume environment with a positive attitude.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred to serve diverse residents.
• Experience in customer service or sales is preferred.

Job Description

As an Apartment Leasing Professional, you are the heart of the community and are typically the first point of contact for both future and current residents. Your strong customer service and sales skills help you show new residents our community by providing them with all of the information they need to understand why our community, and your exceptional service, are second to none. Likewise, your attention to detail and commitment to providing an exceptional living environment to our current residents by responding promptly and professionally to their needs and requests is fundamental to our success and truly indicative of why we, and our residents, see you as the heart of our community. YOU, along with the manager and maintenance team, are truly why residents choose to live and stay with us.

As a Leasing Professional at The Cortina, you will work directly with the Community Manager in overseeing the daily site operations including the marketing and leasing of the apartments, rent collection, resident retention, community maintenance, contracted services, community safety, and legal compliance.

Basic Job Duties

• Show and lease available apartments in person, virtually, and via other platforms (e.g., Zoom, WhatsApp, FaceTime)
• Assist current residents and provide outstanding customer service
• Renew existing leases
• Conduct regular curb-appeal and site walks to keep the property looking its best for prospects and residents
• Conduct market research and assist with business outreach marketing, resident functions, and other promotional programs
• Utilize Yardi software to enter information and run various reports
• Additional projects and/or duties as assigned by the Community Manager

Qualifications

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to work well in a high-volume and sometimes stressful environment
• A positive attitude, and the desire to learn and develop your skills
• High school diploma
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, as many of our residents and prospects communicate primarily in Spanish
• Yardi and MeetElise experience preferred
• Customer service or sales background
• Commitment and desire to work with people in a diverse environment
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including Saturdays
