Job summary

Edward Rose & Sons in Springfield, MO is seeking a Leasing Consultant to join our on-site community team. You will present property features to prospective residents, process applications, prepare lease contracts, and coordinate move-ins and move-outs with other departments.

The ideal candidate has prior sales or customer service experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and familiarity with property management software like Yardi Voyager.

Qualifications

• Previous sales or customer service experience is required
• Previous leasing experience is preferred
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs
• Experience using Yardi Voyager or related property management software is preferred

Responsibilities

• Present community information to prospective renters in a professional manner to appeal to their rental needs
• Provide accurate information on the selling features of the community and surrounding area
• Build positive rapport with potential residents by answering telephone and email communications in a timely manner
• Process applications for prospective residents and follow up to maintain consistent communication
• Prepare lease contracts and other required documents
• Coordinate residents moving in and out of the community and document events
• Listen to resident complaints and help develop solutions
• Additional duties as assigned by manager
