Job summary

Rising View in Bellevue, NE near Offutt Air Force Base is seeking a Leasing Consultant to guide military families through the housing process, coordinate move-ins, and deliver exceptional service.

The ideal candidate will be organized, personable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while following established procedures; prior leasing or office experience is preferred. You will interact with residents, the HMO office, and Rising View team to promote the community.

Qualifications

Leasing Consultant
About The Position

Burlington Capital Properties is seeking a Leasing Consultant to join our team at Rising View, a military housing community consisting of approximately 2,000 residential units located near Offutt Air Force Base.

The Leasing Consultant plays an important role in helping military members and their families find quality housing that meets their needs. This position is responsible for guiding prospective residents through the leasing process, providing exceptional customer service, coordinating move-in activities, and representing the Rising View community in a positive and professional manner.

The ideal candidate is organized, personable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a customer-focused environment. This position works closely with prospective and current residents, the HMO office, and other members of the Rising View team to provide a positive housing experience.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct leasing activities including greeting prospective residents, providing information about available homes, and coordinating leasing activities with the HMO office.
  • Prepare and process leasing documentation and other administrative paperwork.
  • Guide prospective residents through the leasing and move-in process.
  • Coordinate move-in activities based on individual resident needs and applicable requirements.
  • Provide excellent customer service to current and prospective residents.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, military personnel, vendors, and community partners.
  • Promote the benefits and features of the Rising View community to prospective and current residents.
  • Utilize sales techniques to effectively communicate with prospective residents and support leasing goals.
  • Assist with marketing activities, including social media and internet-based marketing.
  • Participate in resident events, community activities, and promotional events.
  • Serve as a positive ambassador for the Rising View community at all times.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete administrative tasks in a timely manner.
  • Follow company policies and procedures and contribute to overall team success.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum two years of previous general office or leasing experience preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Basic math and bookkeeping skills.
  • Proficiency with computers and the ability to learn and use property management and other software systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent follow-up and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to work independently while following established procedures and directives.
  • Ability to interact professionally and positively with residents, employees, vendors, military personnel, and the general public.
  • Knowledge of or experience with military culture and military housing preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.
