Job summary

Forest Properties Management, Inc in Plymouth, MA is seeking a Leasing Consultant to be the first contact for prospective residents and guide applicants through the leasing process.

Duties include tours, handling inquiries, processing applications and leases, coordinating move-ins/move-outs, and maintaining files.

The position offers a 32-hour week with optional Saturdays, strong customer service skills, and proficiency in Word and Excel; benefits include health and life insurance and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• 32 hour work-week schedule with flexibility to work Saturdays when required.
• Prior experience in leasing, sales, or customer service a plus.
• A proactive problem solver who is organized, detail oriented, and communicates with poise and tact.
• Self-starter with excellent interpersonal and relationship skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and general office equipment.
• Ability to work autonomously in a high volume, high stress environment.

Responsibilities

• Customer-facing and responsive to in-person inquiries and phone calls.
• Manage all phases of the leasing cycle: advertise vacancies, field inquiries, process applications, lease signings, renewals, payments, and move-ins/move-outs.
• Regularly walk the property to provide tours, inspections, and report service repairs.
• Maintain resident files and promotional materials, and perform other duties as needed.
• Adhere to and communicate policies, rules, and regulations to residents, maintenance staff, and vendors.

Salary Range: $25.00 To $28.00 Annually

As the first point of contact, the Leasing Consultant provides high-quality customer service by fostering a positive and collaborative relationship with colleagues, vendors, contractors, potential and existing residents, communities, and associated agencies.

Essential Duties and Requirements:

• Customer-facing and responsive to in-person inquiries and phone calls.
• Responsible for all phases of the leasing cycle: advertise apartment vacancies; field all inquiries from prospective residents; process rental applications to lease signature; process all lease renewals; enter rental payments; and coordinate move-ins/move-outs.
• Regularly walk the property to provide tours, inspections, and report service repairs.
• Maintain resident files, property promotional materials, and provide other duties as needed.
• Adheres to and communicates policies, rules, and regulations to residents, maintenance staff, and vendors.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay is based upon qualifications and experience.
