Position: Leasing Consultant

Location: Tidemill Farms community, Hampton, VA

Reports To: Community Manager

Supervises: N/A

Position Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Summary of Position

Performs administrative tasks aimed at achieving maximum occupancy with quality residents. Attendance is essential as it impacts operations and communication within the team.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Abides by Fair Housing Laws.
• Provides tours of apartments to prospective residents.
• Runs credit reports on prospective residents.
• Prepares lease packets.
• Inspects apartments prior to showing.
• Maintains logs of traffic through the property.
• Leases units.
• Provides information over the phone to prospects.
• Maintains a positive public relations attitude.

Occasional Functions

• Typing and filing property-related reports.
• Assist with rent collection, bank deposits, or errands.
• Assist with resident retention activities.

Position Requirements / Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Some real estate training and experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License if operating a vehicle.

Physical Activities

• Typing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing stairs, sitting.
• Lift and move up to 50 lbs.
