Meta is seeking a Leased Facility Project Manager to support the strategic management and operational oversight of leased data center facilities within our global Data Center Operations portfolio. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of accountability for leased site performance, ensuring that third-party landlord and colocation agreements are executed in alignment with Meta's infrastructure standards, capacity requirements, and operational commitments. You will drive cross-functional coordination across real estate, engineering, construction, and operations teams to deliver leased facility projects on time and within scope.Leased Facility Project Manager Responsibilities:Lead end-to-end project management for leased data center facilities, including site selection support, lease commencement activities, fit-out coordination, and operational handoverServe as the primary liaison between Meta and third-party landlords, colocation providers, and facility operators to ensure contractual obligations and service level commitments are metDevelop and maintain detailed project schedules, risk registers, and milestone tracking for leased facility buildouts and expansionsCoordinate with internal real estate, legal, and finance teams to support lease negotiations, amendments, and renewals that align with capacity planning objectivesOversee vendor and contractor performance on leased sites, conducting regular business reviews and ensuring work quality meets Meta's critical infrastructure standardsPartner with data center engineering and operations teams to validate that leased facility infrastructure meets technical specifications for power, cooling, and network connectivityIdentify and escalate project risks, schedule conflicts, and landlord compliance gaps, driving resolution through structured problem-solving and stakeholder alignmentDevelop and present project status reports, budget forecasts, and operational readiness assessments to data center leadership and cross-functional stakeholdersSupport the development and continuous improvement of leased facility project management frameworks, playbooks, and governance processesCollaborate with capacity planning and construction teams to align leased facility delivery timelines with Meta's global infrastructure demand signalsMinimum Qualifications:8+ years of experience in project management within data center, colocation, or critical infrastructure environments8+ years of experience managing leased or third-party facility relationships, including landlord or colocation provider engagementExperience overseeing complex, multi-stakeholder infrastructure projects from initiation through operational handoverExperience with contract and vendor management in a critical infrastructure or real estate context, including performance tracking and issue resolutionExperience developing and communicating project plans, risk assessments, and executive-level status reports to cross-functional audiencesPreferred Qualifications:Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologiesExperience using project portfolio management tools to track milestones, budgets, and resource allocation across multiple concurrent facility projectsDemonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent credential in infrastructure or construction project managementExperience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)Familiarity with data center power, cooling, and network infrastructure standards relevant to leased facility fit-out and acceptance testingExperience managing colocation or leased data center agreements at hyperscale or enterprise scaleAbout Meta:Meta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses.
