Job Title: Lease Operator (Nights only) Duration: 12 months (possible extension) Schedule: 14/14 - Nights Location: Coyanosa, TX

This opportunity offers involvement in the safe and efficient operation, monitoring and maintenance of wells, processing units and related facilities within an oil and gas production environment. The role supports production performance through process monitoring, facility start-up activity, safe work permitting and field equipment inspection. This position will suit candidates with strong operational awareness across oil, gas and water separation facilities and a clear commitment to safety-sensitive operations.

Required Education: High School diploma is required.

Required Experience: Previous experience in a closely related position. Experience operating within oil and gas production environments, including wells, processing units and related surface facilities. Experience supporting oil, gas and water separation facilities operations.

• Required Skills: Ability to safely operate, monitor and prepare maintenance for production facilities and associated equipment.
• Strong understanding of process flow, basic chemistry associated with operating units, major line-ups and unit safety equipment, including isolation points.
• Ability to inspect and monitor equipment and work areas using vision, hearing, smell and touch to confirm correct operation.
• Capability to issue safe work permits and assess chemical, personnel and process safety risks under current operating conditions.
• Experience carrying out gas testing to confirm operational areas are safe for maintenance activity.
• Process monitoring capability including gauging tanks, reading meters, recording data, taking product samples, monitoring differential pressure and chemical injection rates, and identifying leaks, freezing or overheating.
• Ability to monitor key operating parameters such as temperature, pressure, level, flow rate and vibration, and adjust local process settings to maintain product specifications.
• Ability to maintain, operate and repair surface equipment associated with the production of oil and gas.
• Computer proficiency, including use of computer data, computer-generated schematics and electronic monitoring equipment.
• Good written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate process conditions and operational changes clearly.
• Ability to work independently where appropriate and contribute effectively to team objectives.
• Ability and willingness to work on a rotating shift and be available for call out as required.
• Physical ability to lift more than 50 lbs and climb ladders and stairways.
• Ability to use a Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) and other safety detectors and equipment.
• Ability to interact effectively in a multi-cultural environment.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in new facilities start-up and operations is highly desirable.
