Job summary

Crescent Energy is hiring a Lease Operator to monitor and maintain production on assigned wells. You will perform routine and some advanced tasks using field equipment, attend safety meetings, and report well status daily.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 2 years of lease operator experience. Proficiency with MS Word/Excel and SCADA is a plus; clean driving record required. Overtime may be needed. Crescent Energy values safety and environmental responsibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• A minimum of 2 years of lease operator experience or related experience preferred.
• Must meet and maintain eligibility requirements to drive a company vehicle.
• Must have a general knowledge of safe oil and gas production operations.
• Must be able to perform simple mathematic calculations, have a good mechanical aptitude, good writing skills and a good safety and driving record.
• Must be dependable and have ability to work overtime, if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Gauge production on assigned wells and record gauge readings into the production system.
• Perform lease maintenance such as minor surface pump and production equipment repairs; trim weeds and clean up trash.
• Note problems and recommend action to minimize costs and maximize production.
• Assist in witnessing meter calibrations; monitor rates and pressures on wells; test safety systems daily.
• Assist with pump and compressor maintenance and oil sampling for analysis and repairs.
• Attend daily production and monthly safety meetings and quarterly well reviews.
• Utilize SCADA to monitor and evaluate well performance and facility status.
• Ensure operations are secure and environmentally safe for all wells and leases.
• Perform other tasks as required by the supervisor and geographic area.
• Must work with minimum supervision and maintain reliable attendance.
