Job summary

Lincoln Property Company seeks a Lease Administrator to handle routine lease administration under supervision, interfacing with offices, disciplines and clients to relieve the Leasing Manager of administrative detail related to lease information.

Responsibilities include preparing lease abstracts, transferring data to databases, maintaining records, and generating reports. Strong communication, attention to detail, and knowledge of lease docs are essential for success in this in-office role.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associates degree or higher preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in database administration or equivalent commercial real estate experience.
  • Property Management or Real Estate Accounting experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with all levels of the organization, tenants, clients, and vendors.
  • Excellent attention to detail including proofreading for accuracy.
  • Ability to read and interpret lease documents including amendments and title commitments.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills.
  • Understanding of lease administration process.
  • Strong math concepts understood.

Responsibilities

  • Attend seminars/training courses as required.
  • Handle other duties as assigned by Leasing Manager.
  • Maintain daily lease document tracker.

  • Maintain database lease files to ensure accurate, up-to-date records.
  • Process client specific reporting requirements.
  • Create and maintain database of all properties in portfolio.

Job description

Under close supervision, the Lease Administrator handles the routine and daily work of the lease administration department. Interfaces with other offices, disciplines and clients to relieve the Leasing Manager of administrative detail relating to lease information.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and/or edit lease abstracts for accuracy.

  • Perform general administrative duties including:
  • Maintain daily lease document tracker.
  • Monthly production and tracking reporting.
  • Maintain database lease files to ensure that the lease files contain accurate, up-to-date records and are of institutional equivalent quality.
  • Process client specific reporting requirements.
  • Create and maintain database of all properties in portfolio.
Desired Competency, Experience and Skills:
  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Associates Degree or higher preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in database administration or equivalent commercial real estate experience.
  • Property Management or Real Estate Accounting experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, tenants, clients, and vendors.
  • Excellent attention to detail including the ability to proofread documents for completion and accuracy.
  • Ability to read and interpret legal documents including lease agreements and amendments, subordination agreements, and title commitments.
  • Excellent software skills, including Word, Excel, and Property Management Accounting Software (VISUAL LEASE, YARDI, or MRI).
  • Ability to operate database system.
  • Ability to learn new specialty lease administration software.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills.
  • Understanding of lease administration process.
  • Strong comprehension of mathematical concepts.

This position is 100% in-office. The role requires working in office during standard business hours. Remote work or telecommuting is not an option for this position.

Pay Range

$85,000—$95,000 USD
