Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four‑year college or university with a bachelor’s degree. Substitution: Work experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree on a year‑for‑year basis. Such experience must have provided the knowledge, skills, and analytical ability normally gained from attainment of a bachelor’s degree. Four (4) years of professional work experience in any occupation may substitute for a general bachelor’s degree. Four (4) years of general work experience (does not need to be professional) in human resources/personal management may substitute for a general bachelor’s degree.
Three years of progressively responsible professional experience in employee training and/or career development programs for a large organization, which involved developing, evaluating, administering and/or facilitating training, one year of which shall have been representative of work equivalent to a Human Resources Specialist (HRS) IV level. Such experience must have included the development of immediate and long‑range training plans and programs to identify and meet the developmental needs of managers and employees; planning, developing, and conducting programs to address those needs; and evaluating such programs for effectiveness and continuous improvement, with the goal of supporting internal workforce and professional growth.
Possession of an appropriate valid driver’s license.
