Job summary

General Dynamics - IT is seeking a Learning Standards Analyst to help transform training content for U.S. Navy programs at a Dam Neck Annex site in Virginia Beach.

The role focuses on instructional design, curriculum alignment, and collaboration with SMEs to ensure accurate, effective learning materials. The position requires a Bachelor's in a technical field and Navy curriculum development experience, with a SECRET security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Three years of experience developing group-paced instructional materials for Surface Combat Systems per Navy standards.
• Two of three years’ experience with Navy curriculum development software (AIM I, AIM II, CPM/LOM).

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops instructional approaches and interactive courseware to meet training requirements.
• Assist SME workshops to identify job duties, tasks, and learning objectives.
• Develop Training Situation Analysis and Front-End Analysis to identify training gaps.
• Assist in developing instructional approaches and courseware to meet training needs.
• Provide feedback, track completion, and review course safety plans.
• Interact with customers and SMEs to ensure technical accuracy of content.
