Job summary

The Lucy Project in Miami-Dade is seeking a part-time Learning Specialist to support students facing reading challenges with evidence-based, one-on-one and small-group instruction that builds real literacy skills.

The role offers flexible morning or afternoon shifts, in-person work, and a pay rate of $25 per hour. You will report to the Instructional Specialist and commit to 10 months to provide consistent support for students.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
  • Ability to commit for at least 10 months is required.

Responsibilities

  • Assess students' literacy skills and identify where support is needed.
  • Design and deliver lesson plans targeting reading, writing, and spelling.
  • Lead small-group sessions that build confidence and mastery.
  • Track progress and share updates with parents and teammates.
  • Collaborate with a close-knit team on other projects as they arise.
