RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Learning Experience Designer to create and enhance digital and blended learning experiences at our West Orange, NJ campus. You will tailor content to audience needs, design materials, and measure learning impact across the system.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years in instructional design, with hands‑on experience using Storyline, Rise, and Captivate. Strong collaboration and project management skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, OD, or related field.
• 4+ years of progressive instructional design experience in corporate training, learning and development, or people teams.
• Hands‑on experience designing digital learning with instructional design software.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain instructional materials, including presentations, guides, job aids, interactive e‑learning, videos, and other media.
• Integrate in‑module assessments to measure learning effectiveness and post‑learning assessments to measure application and impact.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders during assessment and design phases to ensure alignment and effectiveness.
• Apply feedback and instructional best practices to continuously improve learning content.
• Build standards for learning that ensure consistency, efficiency, effectiveness, and quality at scale.

Pay Range: $90,621.00 - $117,807.00 per year (New Jersey)

Job Responsibilities

• Learning Experience Design
• Develop a variety of digital and blended learning experiences for audiences across the system
• Understand the unique needs of audiences, choose appropriate instructional strategies, and tailor content accordingly
• Design, develop, and maintain instructional materials, including presentations, guides, job aids, interactive e‑learning, videos, and other media
• Integrate in‑module assessments to measure learning effectiveness and post‑learning assessments to measure application and impact
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders during assessment and design phases to ensure alignment and effectiveness
• Apply feedback and instructional best practices to continuously improve learning content
• Build standards for learning that ensure consistency, efficiency, effectiveness, and quality at scale
