Job summary

A leading architecture firm in Reno, Nevada, is seeking an experienced Educational Planner to shape innovative learning environments. Collaborate with architects and clients, conduct discovery sessions, and develop educational programs for K-12 and higher education. Ideal candidates should have over 10 years of experience in educational planning and a degree in a related field. This role offers a salary range of $100,000 - $150,000 annually, alongside excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in educational planning or school design (K–12 and/or higher education).
• Preferred Association for Learning Environments Accredited Learning Environments Planner (ALEP) certification.
• Familiarity with learning environment design standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions with educators and community members to define educational goals.
• Prepare detailed educational programs and translate specifications into architectural requirements.
• Facilitate workshops with diverse user groups.

Skills

Strong communication and facilitation skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Adobe Creative Suite

Planning tools (Revit or Bluebeam)

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Education, Planning, or related field
