Job summary

East Greenwich Township School District is seeking a Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant to lead evaluation planning and assessments to determine eligibility for special education services. You will provide case management and consult with teams, parents, and teachers to design individualized programs.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the Child Study Team, implementing appropriate pedagogy, and supporting student growth in alignment with district policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related discipline applicable to teaching assignment.
• Master's Degree required or preferred.
• NJ Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant Certificate is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluation planning meetings and educational assessments to determine eligibility for special education and related services.
• Provide case management services per assigned caseload.
• Consult with team members, parents, teachers and staff to design, implement and monitor individualized education programs.
• Assist teachers in developing and implementing appropriate pedagogy to maximize student growth.
• Serve as active member of the Child Study Team and coordinate multi-disciplinary evaluation processes.
