Stetson School in Barre, MA is seeking a Learning and Development Specialist to support the design, coordination, and delivery of high-quality training and professional development initiatives. Reporting to the Learning and Development Manager, this role plays a key part in ensuring staff are well-prepared through comprehensive orientation, ongoing education, and enrichment opportunities.

This full-time position emphasizes collaboration across disciplines and a culture of continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required.
• 5–10 years of related experience.
• Standard driver’s license – class C or D.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the development and implementation of staff training and continuing education programs.
• Organize, coordinate, and conduct new employee orientation programs in collaboration with Human Resources.
• Conduct training needs assessments and design, develop, and evaluate learning and development solutions.
• Coordinate conferences, workshops, seminars, lectures, and other learning events that support the mission of Stetson School and its affiliates.
• Maintain accurate training records, documentation, and updates within the Learning Management System (LMS).
