Intuitive Surgical, Inc. is seeking a Learning Content Specialist to support the development and implementation of learning programs across Intuitive platforms. You will collaborate with SMEs to create and update content, manage deliverables, and deliver training for usability evaluations.

The role requires at least 2+ years in instructional design, proficiency in eLearning tools, and a solid grasp of adult learning theory. Onsite weekly, with a focus on quality and cross-functional teamwork.

Job Description

Primary Function of Position

The Learning Content Specialist is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of learning programs and deliverables according to department policies and procedures.

Essential Job Duties

• Collaborate within the team and with subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop or update learning content
• Develop, and manage project deliverables to ensure on-time delivery
• Deliver training for Human Factors usability evaluations and/or train-the-trainers
• Conduct peer review and QA of deliverables
• Partner with content developers, LMS administrators, and Implementation Administrators to implement training content on Intuitive Learning, ISU, and Seismic platforms
• Assist in evaluating learning content using a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods to drive design/development improvements
• Participate in cross-functional meetings and present to stakeholders

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

• 2+ yrs. relevant professional experience
• Ability to sign-off on applicable technical and/or clinical content
• Experience designing and developing eLearning, instructor-led training, and assessments
• Demonstrated application of adult learning theory
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience working and collaborating with SMEs and other Instructional Designers to create learning content
• Ability to work with instructional design processes, tools, and templates
• Ability to prioritize multiple development projects and deadlines, and adapt to project changes
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Excellent attention to detail

Required Education and Training

• Minimum college degree required (Instructional Design, Education, or Science/Engineering degree preferred)
• Software proficiency:
  • MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Compensation

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, benefits, and equity. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications. The target compensation ranges are listed.

Base Compensation Range Region 1: $94,500 USD - $127,900 USD

Base Compensation Range Region 2: $80,300 USD - $108,700 USD

Workplace Type: Set Schedule - This job will be onsite weekly, the percentage of onsite work will be defined by the leader.
