Job summary

Unlimited Instruction seeks a Learning & Content Development Specialist to support instructors in our K-12 programs, delivering professional learning synchronously and asynchronously via Microsoft Teams and helping develop content across subjects.

You will collaborate with educators to improve student outcomes, design engaging materials, and apply adult learning theory while working with internal teams and instructional staff. A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in K-12 education are expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum five years of K-12 educator experience in a public school setting.
  • Experience developing and leading professional learning for educators.
  • Experience writing standards-aligned instructional content.
  • Knowledge of authoring tools such as Articulate or Adobe Captivate or HTML experience.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, organize, prepare and deliver professional learning for internal teams, instructors and staff.
  • Analyze and disaggregate data to inform learning decisions.
  • Deliver professional learning using Microsoft Teams and other tools.
  • Design and develop subject-area content for K-12 classrooms.
  • Communicate progress and issues with supervisor, team and colleagues.
  • Model collaboration and improve team dynamics.
  • Maintain positive rapport with colleagues and leaders.
  • Complete other duties as required.

Overview

U nli mited Instruction (UI) seeks a Learning & Content Development Specialist . In this role, you’ll support instructors and instructional staff in our K-12 instructional programs . In this role, you’ll develop and deliver professional learning synchronously and asynchronously through Microsoft Teams and assist with developing and evaluating content across subject areas for use in K-12 classrooms.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, organize, prepare, and deliver professional learning for use by the internal teams, instructors, instructional staff, and other required members
  • Analyze and disaggregate quantitative and qualitative data to inform professional learning decisions
  • Deliver professional learning using a variety of engaging and relevant instructional techniques aligned to adult learning theory
  • Design and develop subject-area content for use in K-12 classrooms
  • Communicate consistently with your supervisor , team members, and cross-divisional colleagues to provide updates on progress, challenges , and /or concerns
  • Model effective strategies for working collaboratively, enhancing team dynamics, and resolving conflicts
  • Employ an open-minded and reflective approach to maintaining a positive rapport with colleagues and leaders
  • Complete other duties as required and assigned.

  • Experience using and implementing instructional technology tools in the classroom and for professional learning purposes
  • Awareness of contemporary educational trends and programs in professional learning
  • Creative approaches to teaching and learning for the purpose of content development
  • Instructional design and delivery experience in the K-12 setting

Education and Work Experience


As a successful applicant, you must have a passion for advocating for and helping students succeed. Additionally, you will need to:


  • Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university
  • Have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a K-12 educator in a public-school setting including some experience teaching secondary math
  • Possess e xperience developing and leading professional learning for educators
  • Have e xperience writing standards-aligned, high-quality instructional content
  • Demonstrate ONE of the following:
  • Knowledge of authoring tools such as Articulate or Adobe Captivate
  • Experience using HTML

Compensation

$45 Hourly/ Expected Hours between 25-40 hours a week during the school yaer
