Job summary

Alpha School is hiring Learning Coaches to work across a network of campuses in the United States. You will move between campuses every 1–3 months, facilitating one-hour life-skills workshops and coaching students to meet weekly targets using Coachbot analytics.

This full-time, on-site role pays $120,000 per year with weekly pay. A Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years working with K-8 students are required; relocation and frequent travel are expected as part of the posting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any subject; applicable education experience welcomed.
• 3+ years working with K-8 students; classroom experience not required.
• Legal right to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
• Willing to relocate for postings; travel 1–3 months at a time.

Responsibilities

• Run one-hour life-skill workshops for K-8 students, adapting curricula to the cohort.
• Coach students one-to-one and in groups using analytics and weekly goals until targets are met.
• Administer and score assessments to prove progress beyond attendance.
• Establish rapport at each campus within the first week of posting.
• Document per-student progress and interventions at posting ends.
