This role partners closely with business line leaders, corporate teams, field leaders, and trainers across the company to ensure employees are equipped, aligned, and developed to perform at their best. The Learning & Development Manager will also lead CPI’s recurring talent review process, support leadership coaching initiatives, and drive consistent training operations across business lines. This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic, hands‑on learning leader who can operate with independence, influence senior stakeholders, coach leaders, and bring strong structure and operational rigor to a fast‑moving environment.

What You’ll Do:
Enterprise Learning Strategy & Business Line Partnership
  • Own and evolve CPI’s enterprise learning strategy across corporate and field business lines.
  • Partner with divisional leadership and trainer teams to identify training needs, prioritize initiatives, and deliver measurable learning outcomes.
  • Build strong operating rhythms with business line partners, including regular stakeholder check‑ins and participation in key leadership meetings.
  • Align learning programs with business priorities, employee readiness needs, and organizational goals.
Product, Feature & System Release Enablement
  • Lead the training enablement workstream for product, technology, and IT releases.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Product, IT, Marketing, Operations, and field leadership to coordinate launch readiness.
  • Create, curate, and distribute launch collateral, including job aids, announcements, training materials, and communication plans.
  • Ensure trainers and front‑line teams receive release materials in advance, with clear expectations, sequencing, and rollout guidance.
  • Directly oversee the Learning & Development Business Partner, providing strategy, prioritization, coaching, and quality oversight.
  • Lead LMS navigation, maintenance, optimization, governance, reporting, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Oversee the development of eLearnings, job aids, training communications, and performance support tools.
  • Establish standards for instructional design, content quality, version control, adoption tracking, and learning effectiveness.
Onboarding Strategy & Training Operations
  • Own the onboarding strategy and execution plan across the training team from end to end.
  • Set onboarding dates, training calendars, and class schedules to support business needs.
  • Ensure onboarding logistics are consistently executed, including room readiness, trainer coverage, materials, communication, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Oversee key training team cadences, planning meetings, and operational processes.
  • Lead CPI’s talent review process every six months, including preparation, data management, tracking, facilitation, and follow‑through.
  • Facilitate calibration meetings across teams to support consistent, accurate employee evaluation and placement.
  • Drive accountability for action planning, development planning, bench strength, and leader follow‑through.
  • Coach leaders through a structured monthly leadership directive cadence, including topics such as performance improvement plans, succession readiness, bench planning, and employee development.
  • Identify high performers and high‑potential employees through talent review outcomes.
  • Lead development pathways for emerging leaders and high‑potential talent.
  • Facilitate CPI’s Foundational Leadership Program, including a six‑month curriculum and monthly cohort sessions.
  • Deliver group coaching, leadership development sessions, and approximately 15 hours per month of one‑on‑one leadership coaching.
What We’re Looking For:

The ideal candidate is a strategic and operational learning leader who can balance big‑picture talent development with hands‑on execution. This person should be comfortable building programs, improving processes, coaching leaders, managing training operations, and partnering across corporate and field teams. You should be highly organized, proactive, and able to create clarity in a dynamic environment. Success in this role requires grit, strong follow‑through, executive presence, and a passion for developing people at every level of the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience partnering with leaders across multiple functions, departments, or business lines.
  • Strong experience with LMS strategy, administration, adoption, governance, reporting, and continuous improvement.
  • Proven ability to coach leaders in both one‑on‑one and group settings.
  • Experience facilitating talent calibration conversations, leadership development programming, or talent review processes.
  • Ability to influence senior leaders, manage competing priorities, and drive outcomes through structured operating rhythms.
  • Strong project management, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High ownership, sound judgment, and comfort operating independently in a fast‑paced, growing organization.
