The Learning & Development (L&D) Consultant supports the design, development, delivery, and program management of leadership development and learning solutions that strengthen leader effectiveness and improve performance and engagement across Tampa Electric. Reporting to the Manager, Learning and Organizational Effectiveness (L&OE), this role collaborates with Human Resources leadership, Human Resources Business Partners, and internal partners to identify learning needs, co-design engaging experiences, deliver impactful programs, and evaluate results. The role manages assigned learning programs from planning through evaluation, helping ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with organizational priorities.
Direct Supervision: None
Indirect Supervision: May coordinate work with vendors, facilitators, or program contributors on a case-by-case basis.
Key Internal: Works closely with individuals and teams to support targeted leadership learning initiatives. Collaborates with the Learning Management System Specialist and L&OE Coordinator to ensure cohesive planning and delivery.
Key External: May interact with external vendors, consultants, and industry peers to support learning solution development, program delivery, or benchmarking.
Normal office environment. Work may occasionally require extended hours to support scheduled learning programs.
Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods, operate standard office and presentation equipment, and move training materials and supplies as needed.
TECO Energy and its companies serve a role in providing critical services to our community during an emergency.
