Job summary

Senneca Holdings invites applications for the LEAP Manufacturing Internship starting Summer 2027 at our Cincinnati, OH plant. This 10-12 week program offers exposure to Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Customer Service, or Quality, with mentorship and hands-on learning in a manufacturing setting.

Interns gain practical experience through day-to-day field work, special projects, and formal presentations, supported by leadership exposure and access to industry e-learning

Qualifications

  • Exceptional organizational skills with ability to adapt to fast-changing environments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication for effective interfacing with customers and employees.
  • Willingness to work in a hands-on, industrial environment.
  • Previous internship and/or co-op experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership and teamwork through activities or work experience.
  • Immigration sponsorship is not available; must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Gain understanding of how your area of study can be applied in a Manufacturing Environment through training, process shadows, on-the-job experience.
  • Develop and strengthen competencies required for your internship.
  • Take ownership to identify trends and recommend solutions within your area of focus.
  • Lead and/or participate in projects: define objectives, develop project plans, create agendas, facilitate meetings, manage timelines and deliverables.
  • Complete financial and/or data analysis as required.
  • Accountable for delivering superior customerservice (internally or externally as required).
  • Interact with various levels of corporate leadership, customers, vendors/suppliers, and employees to solve problems. Implement actions that protect company assets and profitability.
  • Enhance ability to effectively communicate,influence and interact with all types of customers, contractors and co-workers.
  • Develop conflict resolution and relationshipmanagement skills.
  • Remain current with industry andmacroeconomic trends by reading publications.
  • Must be a self-started and highly motivated.

We are searching for a LEAP Manufacturing Internship – Starting Summer 2027 at our Cincinnati, OH - Plant facility.

Our LEAP (Leadership, Experiences, Applications, Performance)Program is dedicated to developing the skills and competencies of itsassociates. Through this internship opportunity you will get exposure to ourbrands and products, how we measure our financial success, Lean thinkingmethodologies that deliver superior quality, and the core processes that driveour business. This program provides interns with the opportunity to work withina manufacturing facility with the opportunity to gain exposure in Engineering,Supply Chain, Operations Management, Customer Service or Quality.

This internship will provide you with experiential learningopportunities such as, day-to-day experience working in the field, specialproject ownership and formal presentation opportunities. You will also have theopportunity to learn from associates and leaders in your field of interest,including Executive Leadership. You will be assigned a mentor that can provideboth industry and career advice. Additionally, as an Intern at Senneca you willhave access to our Talent Management Software which provides over 23,000e-learning courses that will enable you to grow personally and professionally. Thisbreadth of experience and skill development will provide you a solid foundationto propel your career for years to come.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications:
  • Exceptional organizational skills with theability to adapt to fast changing environment and effectively manage multipleresponsibilities
  • Good verbal and written communication skills– ability to interface effectively with customers and employees
  • Ability and desire to work in a hands-on, industrial environment
  • Previous internship and/or co-op experience preferred
  • Demonstratedproficiency in critical thinking, leadership, business acumen, projectmanagement, relationship building and teamwork experience throughextracurricular activities, work experience or academics. Workingknowledge of Adobe products a plus.
